About Us

Roberta has over 20 years of experience in Emergency Management and Public Health Preparedness, which includes the creation/revision of emergency operation plans, natural hazard mitigation plans, continuity planning and response and recovery plans; deliver various emergency management trainings; design, develop, conduct, and evaluate exercises ranging from table-tops to full-scale as well as participation in actual emergency situations. Established relationships with state and local stakeholders and community organizations to advance emergency planning and preparedness initiatives. Completed the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) Assessor and Team Leader training. Department of Homeland Security certified as a Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) and a trainer of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP). Graduated with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Emergency Management. Currently pursuing credential as a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers IAEM).

Over 35 years of experience in Public Safety and Emergency Management. Successfully managed a municipal rescue service as well as the municipality’s Emergency Management Agency and the E-911 System. Participated in both real life and exercise emergency situations, which utilized the Incident Command System/Unified Command System and the use of an Emergency Operations Center. Established close working relationships with other Public Safety and Emergency Management Officials, which has enabled him to utilize many resources in the emergency management field when necessary. Coordinated with other officials to write emergency plans for the municipality. Completed numerous courses in the Emergency Management field that include train the trainer programs. Paul has also successfully completed the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) Assessor and Team Leader training and have taken part in the assessments of several Emergency Management Programs. Department of Homeland Security certified as a Master Exercise Practitioner and presently seeking certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional. Credentialed as a Certified Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
